For the past few months, I've been volunteering my Sundays to
Project H and the
Downtown Women's Center by assisting in the creation of garments and products from recycled/donated fabrics and goods. I was introduced to Project H by the always social-minded
Fu-meyster, and invited to assist by our good friends Daniel Phillips and Kim Karlsrud. Together, along with several other volunteering designers and women from the shelter, we've made some really awesome products that will be auctioned off this Saturday at the Project H LA Event. The proceeds from the sales will go to the Downtown Women's Center, which is a nonprofit organization that provides meals, supportive housing, and a wide array of health, education, and other supportive services to homeless and very low-income women each year.

I know I've posted a few other events I've been a part of in the past, however this one is for a really noble cause and I sincerely hope any of you who are in Southern California this Saturday night will join us at the Project H LA Event held at
Artecnica. Click on the flyer above to view the full information.
