However, I do have something to offer up.
Post Penumbra Show Teaser from Fu Paullada on Vimeo.
This Saturday, April 24th, the third show put together by the Upper Six Hundreds, of which I am a proud part of, will be unveiling our newest group show. It's entitled Post Penumbra and marks our first venture outside the infamous Venice House. This time, our show has expanded significantly, and we've taken over a 7,000 square foot showroom at the base of the Packard Lofts in Downtown Los Angeles. There are 30+ contributing artists, and the whole event is a gigantic leap forward for our collective. We're actually becoming a bit more legitimate - doing proper advertising, getting city permits, and all-around stepping up the renovation process of the huge space.
If you're in Los Angeles this coming Saturday, I highly recommend stopping by and taking a gander at all our hard work. Below is the invitation, designed by our ringleader, Sami B. For more information about the Upper Six Hundreds, the upcoming show and our past works, please check out www.u600s.com.
Here is the full write-up about the show:Prepare to enter this space using only your imagination. Existing beyond the 600th dimension, it is a mystical land that can only be experienced during the intensifying moments in which we call POST PENUMBRA. Prepare yourself for a timeless travel to an interdimensional world of luminous sights, wondrous sounds and the depths of dark minds.
